Leadership

Peter’s background is in national security operations and diplomacy, working in the UK and overseas. He negotiated on national security topics at the United Nations, spent time in the Middle East, and worked alongside the UK military in hostile environments. After government service, he advised senior business leaders on security and risk governance with strategic advisory firm Hakluyt.

Luke has a background advising operational teams and senior leaders on organisational resilience and cyber security, through Deloitte and Hakluyt, and as an independent adviser. He has helped businesses transform cyber capabilities and respond to the unexpected. This has included spending time in cyber leadership roles for multinational businesses as they navigated internationally significant cyber events.
Advisers

Sir Iain served as the Director of GCHQ. His leadership spanned counter terrorism, cyber defence, support to military campaigns, and the prevention and detection of serious crime. Since moving to a portfolio career in the private sector, Iain has advised senior clients on cyber, risk, and leadership topics,

A career diplomat, Andrew is acknowledged as a leading expert on soft power and national security/crisis communications. He served as Director of Communications in several British government departments, as Director of National Security Communications in 10 Downing Street, and held a senior role at the BBC

Sir Robin is a former Director of Chatham House (the Royal Institute of International Affairs) and a leading expert in international affairs. Robin is also a Distinguished Fellow with the Asia Society Policy Institute, and Senior Adviser with the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).

Rod brings expertise and experience from a career working on contingency planning and risk in national security and corporate roles. After the army and other government roles, he led crisis preparedness and response at Pfizer for 25 years. This included reacting to Covid and the Russian invasion of Ukraine, as well as international training programmes.
Team

Dominique has over 20 years in the Internet sector, including roles at Yahoo!, eBay, and Apple. She has held leadership roles in global governance, including at the UN, and has advised the UK Cabinet Office’s and HMRC. She is a post‑doctoral fellow at the University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Governance and Markets. As an athlete, she is chair of the British Nordic Development Squad and a competitive masters biathlete.

Joe is a former senior Army Officer with a background in Enterprise Risk Management and Strategy Delivery with specialisms in Defence, Health, Media and Infrastructure. He has worked on UK National resilience including flooding, the Olympics and the NHS Covid response, and has experience in Defence Space Operations and the new space economy. He was seconded to the BBC, where he focused on risk and assurance issues for the organisation.

Matt has a background in national security roles spanning operations, comms, strategy, risk and horizon scanning, including helping organisations preposition themselves to flourish in uncertain futures. He led a programme across the UK government to scenario plan for future events. He has been a Director at management consulting firm Baringa, a Policy Fellow at Cambridge University, and a Senior Research Associate at Reading University.

Nick’s background spans intelligence, the British Army, and senior advisory roles within global firms including AstraZeneca and GSK. From designing counter-espionage frameworks to directing global COVID-19 vaccine security, Nick brings experience at the intersection of national security, corporate risk, and resilience strategy. He has advised multinationals, governments, and crisis teams during hostile incidents and high-impact operational threats.
